Category: Beer Tasting

The Summer Ale from Samuel Adams (Boston Beer Company) in Boston, Massachusetts pours out golden in color with good clarity, few bubbles and a one finger, white head that retreats quickly. On the nose aromas of lemon, wheat and a touch of spice. In the mouth there are flavors of lemon with good spice and an underlying caramel sweetness. Moderate carbonation. Little lacing. Fairly light bodied. Crisp. clean mouthfeel. Quite grainy on the finish with more spice. A good summer beer perfect for a hot day.

12 ounce bottle, 5.20% ABV
