The Summer Honey Ale from Big Sky Brewing Company in Missoula, Montana pours out golden in color witn nice clarity, vibrant streams of tiny bubbles and a white head that quickly dissipates. The aromas on the nose are very floral and laced with honey and hints of spice. Perhaps some graham cracker like aromas too. In the mouth this beer has a nice honeyed sweetness but isn't cloying. There is also some toasted malt and a little spice. Light bodied. Well carbonated. Fair amount of lacing. Pretty clean, smooth mouthfeel. The finish is fairly long and mouthwatering with the honey flavor the most noticeable. A great beer for a hot Summer day. Very thirst quenching.
