Category: Beer Tasting

The Festina Peche brewed with peach concentrate from Dogfish Head Craft Brewery in Milton, Delaware pours out quite light at first (almost white wine-ish) but as the glass fills it takes on a straw color with just a little cloud and a one finger white head that readily dissipates. Aromas of peach, sour apple, yeast and some floral notes on the nose. In the mouth this is a very tart beer with cider qualities and almost wine like dryness. Flavors of peach, sour apple, wheat and a little yeast. Light bodied. Moderate carbonation. Some lacing. Crisp, clean mouthfeel. Very tart on the finish and dry. A fabulous beer for a hot day. Definitely a thirst quencher.
