Category: Beer Tasting

The Midas Touch from Dogfish Head in Milton, Delaware pours out golden in color with good clarity and a fairly thin white head. Brewed with Muscat grapes, honey and saffron this is a very unique beer. Aromas of honey, caramel, sweet white grape, all spice and biscuit on the nose. In the mouth flavors of honeyed, malty sweetness, grape juice, spice and almost a butter type flavor. Light side of medium bodied. Moderate carbonation. Little lacing. Light syrup to the mouthfeel. The finish is quite long, rich, sweet and spicy. Probably not something you'd drink every day but a lovely beer that should go well with spicy food.

12 ounce bottle, 9.00% ABV
