The Paranoid Pale Ale from Mammoth Brewing Company in Mammoth Lakes, CA pours out a warm, golden amber with good clarity and a fluffy, dense white head that hangs around for a while. Citrus hops and biscuity malts on the nose. Quite tart in the mouth with lemon flavors intertwined with pine, malt and slight sweetness. Definitely more tart than bitter. Medium to light bodied. Good carbonation. Nice lacing on the glass. Tangy mouthfeel. The finish is tart, bitter with hints of sweetness.
